So I’ve spent most of the past two weeks (with a brief Parisian interlude) in the National Art Library at the V&A doing research for my upcoming thesis. At first things were a bit slow and then I hit some big treasure troves of information and struggled to get through it all by closing time today.

Sunglasses have got to be one of the quintessential masculine accessories. This may sound like a bold statement, but it’s one that I think is justified. Also, unlike many other articles, even “fashionable” sunglasses tend to be more classic. While women’s sunglasses walk more on the wild side, men’s frames even at their trendiest are usually classically inspired.

So this is the best picture I can get up here for now, since in typical genius fashion I have brought the wrong camera cable to London with me. I thought I would get a quick snap of the cloth on my iPhone, and I will shoot more proper pictures later today using my Aunt’s camera instead.
