While on break from school I have found myself reading even more than usual.  It is a great irony that those who spend their entire lives reading actually spend the least amount of time reading purely for pleasure.  It’s been too long since I’ve read a novel and not been preoccupied with what I might write an essay about.  But, I digress.

My favorite days might just be new shoe days.  Last week in the post-holiday sales I was able to find a brilliant pair of Allen Edmonds oxfords.  I wore them twice this week and then gave them a nice glacage finish on the toes and quarters.  So far they seem to be wearing nicely, are extremely comfortable, and with AE’s refinishing service I have years and years with them to look forward to.
