See the SAVOY

This is no ordinary hotel opening though.  The Savoy was THE grand hotel of the Edwardian era, and continued to be the choice destination of the worlds finest for decades after.  Monet painted masterpiece from his balcony , Noel Coward played the piano in the bar, and countless other celebrities, royals, and who’s who made the Savoy their home while staying in London.  Never a dull moment.

And, added to all of this, Mr. James Sherwood curated a museum exhibition housed in the hotel itself showcasing artifacts from the Savoy’s illustrious past, as well as decorating a slew of Signature Suites modeled in the style of fabulous guest (Coward, Monet, Dietrich, Chaplin, and a handful of others included).  Next time I’m in London, I think the Beaufort Bar (built on the original cabaret stage) will be stop number one.
