More Casual

So I thought I would follow up Monday’s post about casual dressing with another.  The gent just beginning to be interested in dressing is often drawn to the more formal elements first, but being able to dress casually yet elegantly is one of the true tests of the well-dressed man.

The mix of fine knit and rough jacket creates nice contrast, and the wearer gets the structural benefits of tailoring without the formal appearance of traditional lapels and pockets.  Because of the color palate this look has a distinct country feel to it, but I think you could get a similar effect with a navy turtleneck and grey herringbone jacket.  Arny’s, the legendary Parisian outfitter, does this sort of thing better than anyone.

What do you wear on the weekends or when you’re feeling a bit more laid back?
