Modern Tailor Trial

So today I am placing my first MTM shirt order, at Modern Tailor. Reviews online seem to suggest that the quality isn’t bad, and a bargain at $19.99 for their trial white shirt or between about $40 and $60 for more interesting offerings.

MTM has always been alluring for me, and since I’m on the small side, off the rack shirts never fit properly. The arms are always too long, the chest too baggy, and I like a slightly longer tail to help keep things tucked neatly. I’ve decided that since this is a trial and I’ve got nothing to lose, I’ll shake things up a bit and get a shirt totally different from anything I own. I’m going with the above wide spread collar (more like a cutaway to my eye) and a Portofino (cocktail) cuff.
