Farewell White!

With Labor Day comes the end of official white wearing season. I’ll admit though, the title of this post is a bit misleading, since I’ll be wearing white for just a few more weeks. The full on Gatsby (see above) would be a little much for September, but with the temperatures still hovering in the high 80s here in St. Louis I have no problem throwing on white trousers for the tromp to campus.

Taking a cue from the sage Glenn O’Brien (of Interview, TV Party, and GQ Style Guy fame), I keep the white clothes out of storage during baseball season. Maybe if I move to a cooler clime I’ll rethink this move, but for now I’m stickin to it.
