Form or Fancy – Lord Byron
While on break from school I have found myself reading even more than usual. It is a great irony that those who spend their entire lives reading actually spend the least amount of time reading purely for pleasure. It’s been too long since I’ve read a novel and not been preoccupied with what I might write an essay about. But, I digress.
New Shoe Day – Allen Edmonds
My favorite days might just be new shoe days. Last week in the post-holiday sales I was able to find a brilliant pair of Allen Edmonds oxfords. I wore them twice this week and then gave them a nice glacage finish on the toes and quarters. So far they seem to be wearing nicely, are extremely comfortable, and with AE’s refinishing service I have years and years with them to look forward to.
Cakes and Ale – And Some Perspective Too

Some Wilde Advice
As you know by now (if you’ve been reading), I received a new copy of Wilde’s Dorian Gray for the holidays, which was as good an excuse as any to read it yet again. Somehow I never run out of these excuses.
