My questions fall mainly into clarification. Things such as: I notice that flannel dress trousers are made of 100% wool. SO does that mean that all 100% thousers are considered flannels? Or I see texturs similar to what the flannel looks like in pants that are 95% wool and 5% Cashmere. Is that flannel. Overall, the ins and outs of what makes flannel dress pants…well…Flannel. Might be a good post in general. But I am selfish as I know I would like to see it for my own information. :)

Brooks Brothers is probably the best source in St. Louis for that price or below. There are a few tailors in town who could make them for you, but they would run about $300 plus.

I'll look into some clear definitions and terms and post them in a few days. I just want to double check and make sure I'm not giving you bad information!

I don't mind paying a hefty price occasionally but there must be some slightly less expense alternatives. Any suggestions? Also in insight into other fabric terminology surrounding flannel trousers would be helpful as my problem of not finding a wide available selection may be due to a lack of understanding and search terminology. If you have a post already covering such, point me in the right direction. Thanks!
