One way to think about color in dressing is as a series of distinct, individual tones that can be mixed, matched, and contrasted to greater or lesser effect. But, even ignoring its scientific qualities, another, in my mind more helpful, way to view color is as a spectrum.

One of the most highly-talked-about collections in the recent slew of women’s fashion shows has been the Tom Ford’s first eponymous womenswear collection, and I must say it’s interesting. I’m not sure it’s my favorite of the women’s collections, but it did get me thinking about menswear, womenswear and the relationship between the two.
Pitti Inspiring
Well, it’s that time of year again. Fashion shows, Pitti Uomo, &c. have the fashion press blogging, tweeting, and photographing more than any reasonable human being would think possible. And I’m certainly not complaining. The only things I’m a little bitter about is that I’m stuck here in the States instead of roaming the lovely streets of Florence.
