		<description><![CDATA[I started writing thank you notes about two years ago.  Before that I was pretty much an ungrateful boor, who either just said, &quot;thanks&quot; on a call or email.  Now I not only write notes, I send a few letters to friends far away.  I have even got a few back.  We all agree that it is very hard to get back into writing real letters.  It&#039;s a dying art, but I am doing my best to bring it back-- albeit only in my little corner of the world near New York City.]]></description>
